Jerusalem in Dreamscape

I dreamed that I was hurrying through the Old City at night, confident through its twisty stone alleys. I was coming from my stepkids' house, where I had just returned them. All the streets were coated with thick, perfect white snow, and more was falling, huge and fast. I turned a corner and suddenly found myself in a large courtyard.
The courtyard would have been plain stone, with a few ruins, but a group of Catholics were moulding the snow into elaborate pillars and church-like decor. They were all wearing fancy clothes and robes, also made of snow. In the dream I was furious about the snow clothes, which at the time I thought to myself were "such a Christian thing to make." I wanted to tell them to leave the city alone, but since they were such a crowd, thought better of it.
