Tosafot Mafia

I dreamt that the Tosafot (Medieval commentators on the Talmud) were in some sort of Tunisian mafia, yet were also continuing their commentary. I don't remember much except that when I woke up, I felt a horrible sensation that Rabbeinu Tam (one of the Tosafot) was INCREDIBLY WRONG.

In Talmud shiur this morning, I started telling a classmate, "I had a nightmare last night about the Tosafot..."

"You never woke up," he replied.
