Vampire Farm

cremainsIn this dream, vampires had an evil plan to make the Southern United States cropland for Mediterranean fruit. A wizened vampire overlord came from the twisted mountains of his home village in order to plant figs. I was one of his workers, a large man in overalls named Harvey. I worked with Tifa from Final Fantasy VII to plant the vampire's figs, which were not trees but basically corn with figs growing off it.
Fortunately, before there was a chance for this agricultural fiend to succeed, we were able to stab the vampire in the heart, cut off his head, and stuff his mouth with garlic.
We buried his charred remains in a field, but to our horror, the field rapidly began sprouting with figs! It turned out the vampire had laced his body with fig seeds, having foreseen our rebellion. We'd been had.
Even worse, I discovered that I was also carrying the plague of rapid fig growth and that soon I would also be causing this horror everywhere just by walking around.
Other vampires were working on grapes, dates, and so forth.
